Boy on a Bridge

Slaters Bridge in Langdale is one of my favourite places. It brings back memories of summer school trips in the late '70's. Happy days.

Mum and I drove to Ambleside to meet my brother davidd and sister in law Ukulelehayley plus family. We walked from Tilberthwaite to Cathedral Cave and along to Slaters bridge. It was fun watching H do her caped hero reading in the cave, she did very well.
We had lunch, on the rocks, or in my case the damp grass.The wind was cold but at least it didn't rain. It was lovely to catch up with my nephew (Alf on the bridge) and my niece. I haven't seen any of them since July.
A memorable day.
