A little road trip...

Dd2 and I went on a little road trip! First stop Bath...to stay with my grandfather (87 years young)! This morning we decided to have a drive around Longleat Safari Park, my grandfather absolutely loves the animals, and with it only half an hour away, it was rude not to!!

This was one of the deers, you can buy some feed for them...and well, feed it to them! They were very friendly and VERY inquisitive!

The famous lions were a joy too...lots of youngsters which is very promising for ongoing preservation of these amazing big cats. The tigers were a sight to behold too!

We even braved the Monkey enclosure...fortunately there isn't much on my car to tear off, well apart from windscreen wipers. Some 'clever dick' had taped his wipers down...the monkeys seemed to make a bee line...the tape didn't last long!!

Just home now with a large glass of fizz, it's a long drive home!
