Couldn’t get to sleep properly for ages last night so consequently didn’t wake up until 8. Had quite a slow start to the day, did loads of hoovering, went food shopping and prepared the meal for this evening . I still haven’t got into the habit of routinely thinking about non bathroom and kitchen cleaning- probably because I’ve still got unpacking and organising to do- so I suddenly realise that the house is a mess. It’s usually when someone is coming to visit of course! The extra bits arrived for my dressing room storage today . It will be nice to get that finally finished. Plumbers came to sort out the leak in the toilet. Whilst I was finishing off the food prep I decided I should move most of the light ish garden furniture etc into the shelter ready for Eunice. Problem was that it was pouring down with rain by then and already windy!
St arrived at 5.30 for dinner- bit early for me as I thought we agreed 6.30-7. Food went down well though I don’t think it was as tasty as the one D cooked. We found enough to talk about which was good though I was flagging s bit by 9.30 when he left!
