I decided not to come as heavy rain was forecast all day and he was taking out two stained glass windows and boarding them over. He was worried that the carpets would get wet. Of course it didn’t start to rain until lunchtime but then it outed and the wind started. Certainly not as bad as in some places but pretty gusty! I got on with putting up the new stuff in my dressing room but hit two snags. After having thought about one I sorted it but the other needs another pair of hands- probably Js. Drove over to collect my kitchen blinds and bedroom curtains. Will get the curtains up tomorrow.. No photos, so here is my bunch of daffodils which are doing a good job at cheering up this grey day
