See You In Six Years

We came back from Cornwall a day early as mrsfb had a appointment at Southmead to check on her hip. We stayed overnight in Filton so were only 5 minutes drive from the hospital. The appointment went very well. The next review will be 7 years after the operation, so about 6 years from now. Yay!

We were concerned about the drive back in view of the dreadful weather forecasts, but it was OK. I have driven in worse weather.

Home now, it seems like we have been away for ages rather than just a week.

This time last year I was doing the bins. The good news this year is that, because of Eunice, bin day (today) was cancelled and has been moved to Monday next week. We were going to miss out being away but now we won't. Every cloud ....
