Rusting relic of times past

Went for a quiet (hardly any wind!) walk with Jimmy this morning. I regularly walk past what used to be an Electricity Board Installation now long gone with just the old, rusting spotlights left in place. The area is earmarked for more housing some time in the future but the ground needs to be decontaminated first and not many building companies want to take on that expense.

There has been quite a lot of tree planting going on across the estate and I noticed a little spinney of silver birch trees underplanted with snowdrops, lovely! See extra.
