Leaderfoot

A lovely few days away staying near Earlston, close to Melrose.  Its a wonderful part of Scotland and we discovered lots of new places. On our first day we took a river walk to Melrose and back again.  We took a circular walk, and thought it was very beautiful route. As we expected the river was a torrent, and there were many trees down from previous storms. On the way we passed the Leaderfoot viaduct-what a wonderful structure, with The Black Hill set behind it.
