Unofficial wedding photographer today!  Thought I would just take a few shots from the back but ended up organising a mini wedding photographic shoot.  Small Civil ceremony in local Community Centre for friends who have been together for some years.  Some guests wandered about with iPhones but as the only person who had a "proper" camera I thought I had better step up and try to take a few candid shots and maybe some official ones with everyone included.  In earlier days the official photographer would rush back to a studio and turn up later with a set of proofs and take orders for prints.  I will not be doing that but hope I have a few to offer the couple as a memento once I have processed them.  Enjoyed it and wished I could have offered more but did not like to intrude and "take over".  Back there this evening for the party bit.
