Compton Verney

Following yesterday's storm we had rain today, well rain until two'ish.  As it eased off we decided to take a ride out to Compton Verney.  They are holding a Spectacle of Light each evening at the moment, although last night was cancelled due to the storm and tomorrow's has been cancelled too as high winds are expected. As we walked around workmen were busy checking it all for tonight's show.

The entire park is decked with a multitude of different coloured lights while speakers play music, so light and sound, possibly represented by this photo I took of this pathway of curved, changing coloured lights (sound waves?).

The extra gets away from the lights and noise, the peace of the Chapel, also designed by Capability Brown. 

In other news: Today is my granddaughter's birthday. Kio is now 13, a teenager!
