Champagne and sunshine

11 years ago today our daughter married our son-in-law here in Cheltenham on a very mild February day. It was a wonderful occasion.

Today they celebrated as a family with a day at Bristol’s Aquarium before lunch, and at The Hippodrome afterwards. They greatly enjoyed the stage version of The Lion King.

This evening the boys came to our house for a meal and sleepover while their parents went out for dinner. The boys gave us a scene by scene account of the Lion King. It had clearly been a brilliant day out for them all. They were super company and as I write this they are now sound asleep.
