Snow Light

Some nice light on the horizon this afternoon, so I tried to take advantage of it. Today was very windy and not wanting to fight it attempting to get sharp captures, I went for something softer.

Although the overall feeling is warm and fuzzy, there is something slightly sinister in the dark trunk on the left looming over the image. I like the foreground branches though, which are by no means in focus, yet clearly discernable for what they are.

I can also see the brightest patch in the sky top left echoes that in the bottom right, which I assume is bouncing off the snow.
