There once was an ugly duckling...

It's Margaret's birthday today, we celebrated quietly having a walk at NT Anglesey Abbey and a light lunch in the restaurant there...

Unfortunately yesterdays storms had left some of the trees in a dangerous condition so the woodland paths were closed but we still had a good walk. This immature swan was sitting beside the river all alone, hiding away just like Danny Kaye's Ugly Duckling.

We finished our walk just in time, the heavens opened and it poured with rain...
