More horses ... And the Auberge

I was supposed to attend a wedding ceremony in the brand new hotel and chapel here in DB today. But a young friend, whose mum is travelling, called me up as she'd been sick for a few days and needed some advice.

I asked her to come over straight away so I could watch over her and look after her, which she did. Of course secretly glad that I got to spend all day with a 'girl' and watch girly shows on TV! Oh how I wish I had a daughter!

She felt better through the day and did go home. I'm sure she must really be missing her mum :( I know I do when I'm sick.
