Barns Ness Lighthouse

I know you have seen this lighthouse at least a couple of times before but on a lovely sunny morning with lovely cloud formations, I just could not resist one more shot at it. As ever I have chosen the mono version as it looks so much more dramatic and you get the sense of it towering above you as I experienced it this morning.

I had in any case to fit in a blip on the morning walk with the dogs as at lunch time my step-son and his family arrived and I knew I would be caught up on Baxter patrol as this is the first time we have had had children with us since Baxter arrived and we need to fully supervise him because of his nervy disposition.
