Storm damage

We walked around the village a bit this afternoon, surveying the storm damage from yesterday. The worst we say was this large branch from an old oak tree that had fallen across the pavement - I hope no-one was out walking at the time.

Other than that, we stayed put inside, although I did clear up all the twigs that had fallen off the birch tree in the garden, and repotted the plant that had blown over and lost a lot of soil. I’ll leave them all in the garage for another day or two, I think.
