Vases

I managed to make a couple of small vases tonight, but also had a lot of false starts! I’m trying to perfect the making of a cylinder (which is the basis of vases, bottles, jugs and mugs) but it’s a bit hit and miss - I’ve definitely not perfected it yet. I get a bit disheartened sometimes as I’ve been going to classes for 4 or 5 years now and wonder if I’ve progressed very much, but then I remind myself that it’s only 2 hours per week so it’s hard to develop that muscle memory that’s needed. Hey ho - let’s hope these look ok when they’re glazed at least.

A couple of extras of the garden - I did a little bit of tidying this morning but lots more to do still!
