Weather horrible for a change, wind rain cold all not acceptable as we have had a belly full already.
Spent the morning in the greenhouse, transplanting sweet peas into individual pots and just generally pottering. One of the overwintering plants has not stopped flowering since I moved it into the greenhouse so tailor made for a blip.
Instead of using the phone camera or my big Canon I used the little Sony. I bought this several years ago because all the reviews said how good it was and the lens went down to f1.8 and all the other bits were super and it would fit in my pocket easily (my real reason for buying it). Unfortunately I acquired a much better phone shortly after and have ended up using that as a pocket camera instead. Also the Sony controls are different to the Canon ones I am used to so I need to think far more before doing anything.
I used it for the blip of the 17th and was so pleased with this that I decided to make more of an effort to understand. So having finished planting I started to play.
I have discovered how to do lots of things, including manual focus. As you can see from the blip I need to do a bit more work on that but I did like the picture so its todays effort.
