Ivy at 11 months

Today is the anniversary of Dad’s death but it’s also the 11 month anniversary of Ivy’s birth.   After Storm Eunice we were very relieved that B and C managed to get here at all.  Post storm delays coupled with engineering works on the main line made it a challenge.  They came to Pulborough and were very delayed.  Cooked dinner for 3 out of 4 of Dad’s children (you were missed @xtoph1), Mum and a close friend, and of course B and C.  I made a Nigel Slater fish pie as we had a pescatarian in the mix and a beautiful Rachel Roddy chocolate and cherry cake one of my favorite flavour combinations. A very jolly evening.
