The best place to be
We have had worse weather today then in the previous two storms this week. Heavy rain overwhelmed the gutters and the winds threatened to remove tiles from the roof.
I kept the cats inside during the storm on Wednesday and they were traumatised. Oscar would not even stay in the same room, much less come on my knee for a treat. Daisy came round more quickly.
I decided to let them go out if they chose to. They both slept on blankets in the conservatory all morning. I had to creep up and photograph Oscar through double glazing. I did not want him to take fright and run out.
This morning, I had a Zoom meeting with the rest of the group who made the Covid book together, starting in November 2020. We are going to present the work to the Hexham Photography Group on March 19th. Very soon after we got together it was just like old times. After 90 minutes we had an outline for the presentation and had agreed the main points we want to get across to the listeners.
We even briefly wondered about doing another project together......
PS Oscar went out this afternoon and has not returned yet. He is a law unto himself, but much happier when he can go outside.
