Last day on Harris
After the storm last night, we woke to a grey, windy morning. The rain had gone. Soon the sun appeared and we had lovely light to enjoy. It was only after lunch when the clouds gathered and hid the sun.
We worked hard at various venues. I was keen to try long exposures around rocks and was pleased to find these shiny, black ones near Horgabost.
My extra is the Macleod stone, standing in an idyllic position with a marvellous view. If you look hard you can see Nick, who has walked towards the beach.
Nearby there were two ewes with a lamb each. This seems much too early for the Outer Hebrides. They looked healthy and strong.
Tonight I packed ready to transfer to the Isle of Lewis tomorrow. More exciting adventures will follow……
