A fashion in heritage...

In the entrance hall to flats where friends live, they have added a homely touch with vintage maps of Edinburgh.

People - including me - find it fascinating to look at the maps, maybe especially where they live right now, and see how it was in the 18th or 19th centuries. Maps are wonderful!
