Spring planting around the nature reserve pond

The nature reserve people have been hard at work since last year pruning trees, making dead hedges and rewilding the patch of land around their pond.

Last week, I noticed a lot of the spring bulbs they planted in the autumn have come up and the hellebores are flowering. There's plenty of snowdrops too.

It's such a great space, you wouldn't think it's in the middle of East Oxford!
