Through the Letterbox

These are letterbox flowers from Yorkshire daughter. They came in a flat box able to be pushed through the letter box had I not been in.
On arrival they were tightly packed and looked a bit wilted but given a drink of water laced with their special revival powder, they sprang back into life with renewed enthusiasm! Amazing to see the transformation.

They were so happy to sit in the sunshine this morning and open up to the warmth- a bit like myself as I returned home with my coffee after walking into town for shopping.

It’s been a calm day here with Franklin nowhere to be seen, but the Meadows are waterlogged, playing host to the seagulls. The ducks haven’t arrived yet!
