Goodbye North Berwick

What a lovely weekend we've had in North Berwick. I am such a lucky little collie pup to be allowed to go away with the girlies.

The first time I went away with the girlies, I was only four months old. We went to Berwick-Upon-Tweed Ann had already booked a dog friendly property so that 'MollyCollie' could come and even though I was pretty well behaved for a weeny, teeny little puppy; I still cried a bit when I got left 'home alone' in my crate. And I was still in my 'puppy chewing phase'. The property had a hot tub in the garden which Ann & her friends made very good use of. Ann's friend, Janice, doesn't like hot tubs so her job was to look after me and keep the humans topped up with Prosecco. …............Even at 4 months old, I was pretty clever. …........When Janice's attention was diverted to topping the 'hot tub girls' with more Prosecco, I used to run upstairs to the bedrooms and come back down with bras and trainers. They were very good things to chew?!!! Lol!!

…...................Moving swiftly on.......................

Everyone agreed that my behaviour this weekend was impeccable. I don't even need to take my crate with me. Ann just put my travelling duvet into her bedroom because she had the biggest & best room and when the girls went out to do shopping/eating/drinking, I just had snooze time.

Obviously, because my human is a very caring dog owner, I've still had lots of lovely walks. Her friends are a bit lazy. Lol! For the last three mornings we've got up first and gone out for at least an hour. Sometimes when we've come back her friends are still in their PJs?! But hey ho, I guess that's what holidays are all about.

Anyway, here I am on the beach first thing this morning. I'd already had a play in North Berwick Park & North Berwick Glen before heading back to our Airbnb via the very sunny beach.

On the way home we stopped off at 'Gullane Beach' so that I could have a play with my ball. I ran & ran & ran. And jumped & jumped & jumped. And got very, very, tired. (See extras)

Then we popped into the 'Boat House' at Portobello so that the humans could have their last lunch of the weekend. I was so tired, I immediately just went into 'good dog mode' for a snooze under the table. All the other doggies that came in, got a bowl of water but I was so tired I don't think anyone even knew I was there?!!!

Got home around 2pm-ish and I went straight into my little bed for a snooze. Ann woke me up about 4.30pm and took me out for about 15 mins for toileting purposes and now I'm back in bed again. I haven't even eaten my dinner.

I've had the bestest weekend ever...............................

PS – My human is watching the news. Government restrictions to end and people to take personal responsibility??? My human totally agrees with that. But of course, that's in England.

Here in Scotland, who knows what's going to happen. My human doesn't even know when 'Nicola' is doing her next update??!!  ...................Ann say's she'll be wearing masks and self isolating for the rest of her life???!!!
