I picked up some smart new breakfast ware from the Lifeboat Shop today. The lady who served me is my extremely charming neighbour, who gave me some of her marmalade yesterday, even though she came home to find me upstairs with her husband. She tested the teapot's pouring abilities, and although she felt it was a bit of a dribbler, I took it anyway, seduced as ever by the stripe. More seasoned sailors will spot my error...
