Fritillaria meleagris

Snake's head Fritillary.
I have grown these for years, but they never cease to surprise and amaze me. I don't know of any other chequered flowers than these.
They came through the blizzard and the big freeze and are looking as if there are enough buds to keep going for weeks.
They are actually in pots, so I can put them on the bench to photograph them.
