Riverside Studios

I worked at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith for a few years in the 1980s, it was just past its heyday but we still had good visiting shows and I ran a new writing programme.  It all gradually faded until it closed down ten years or so ago. Then it got completely rebuilt opening itself more to the river and now is a rather nice arts centre.  We went to see our friend Elizabeth giving a wonderful performance in Ava, her show about Ava Gardner.  I wish it had been better attended but it was a lovely evening.  Drove home late but in good spirits.
