Wood ear

It was a beautiful afternoon, and I played with my macro lens in the garden. There are lots of little, dark, crumpled looking wood ear mushrooms on the lengths of hazel P has cut off the clump he coppiced, contrasting sharply with the acid greens and yellows of the lichen.
