Homeward bound

This is the view from our cabin at the stern of Stena Edda ferry this morning; you can see the car deck just below. We had a great room with a proper double bed rather than bunks, it was so comfortable!

It started to snow shortly after I took this photo and the flurries continued on our drive home. We have one of those Nest systems so the heat was switched on and the house was really cosy when we stepped in.

It’s lovely to travel and catch up with family and friends, but it’s also so good to be back home again! Mrshb70 bought me a lovely milking stool for Christmas (we swapped presents a week ago, rather belatedly) and it’s now safely installed beside the tub in the bathroom. I’ll blip it another time!
