First time back to the drawing block today in over a year! I had actually drawn the fishing puffin towards the end of 2020 but then abandoned him due to busy-ness and didn’t really get my creative mojo back.

Today I sat and looked at him for a little while and then decided I was up to a wee bit of colouring-in. The little fish were asking to have a glistening scaley finish, so I got out my new (ish) Japanese paints and did a minimal paint stroke or three.

So now I’ve broken my painting fast! I’d like to keep going….
