Landgoed Clingendael

Penny and I went for a marathon walk here - it must be one of the most beautiful parks in The Hague and has been here since the 16th century. Its on the borders of Wassenaar and The Hague. It has a 17th century manor house surrounded by paths and a Japanese garden. Sadly the latter is rarely open. A beautiful reflection in my extra. However I was a little humbled by the power of the winds that blew through here - snapping off trees as though they were matchsticks.
