In the presence of folk music gods. It’s just over 2 years since we should have seen these amazing musicians at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge. They were unbelievably good. Possibly the best gig I’ve ever seen.
We sat through it in our FFP2 masks and it felt safe enough. Fingers crossed that the lifting of all Covid restrictions doesn’t send rates sky high again.
We went with Steph who we met there. A hard day for her today remembering the year she spent teaching English in Kiev. The music helped.
