Light and shadow

A lot of the latter about today. The shadow of Russia has fallen across the Ukraine, and it’s worse than we ever expected as it has revealed all the fault lines in global politics. Game of thrones has nothing on this. Turkey is going mad trying not to fall off the fence, India and Pakistan are both kowtowing to Putin, Europe is prevaricating, America is huffing but not puffing and Britain is irrelevant. 

But don’t worry we’ve got the Russians worried now because they’ve been thrown out of the Eurovision Song Contest. That’ll bring the bastards to heel.

I sprained my hand today and it’s bloody painful. Other than that, a busy day work and domestic wise. Mike The Man built us a very nice boiler housing. Unfortunately he has a long list of little jobs to complete. It ain’t over yet …
