Creeping Ivy Comes in Many Forms
Found this berry laden ivy all along the path at the Greenwell State Park today. It reminds me of what’s happening in Eastern Europe. If this aggression isn’t stopped quickly, it will continue until it completely takes over whatever area it can get to. Some may see ivy as a lovely plant with beautiful berries and roots that prevents erosion, but the truth is, it is invasive and prevents beneficial plants from surviving. So far, they have not been able to obtain complete control over my mother. She will be with us this weekend, away from her phone and maybe we can bring her a bit of calm. Wish I had the same ability for the world. Try to find some inner peace friends. —William Cowper
