Spring is certainly on the way ……

…… we were fortunate today to see our first lambs of the season. They were just a bit too far away from the fence.

After our photo shoot was finished we continued on our way to Dumfries House. We started with our customary coffee and scone and then headed through the woodland and arboretum to the Walled Garden. A bit early for a wonderful floral display ….. mainly Hellebores, Pulminaria, a few clumps of miniature daffodils and hundreds of Snowdrops by the river and in the woodland.
