Knot the workshop
A morning reading the papers. All about the Ukraine, of course. And some worrying pieces from European diplomats and others who had been in contact with Putin recently that he wasn’t the Putin of old at all. Rather, that he was tense, deluded and paranoid. Not at all good.
I wandered over to the knot workshop at 2pm; not to take part but just to take some photos for the website. I hung around at the kitchen end with Tam and a rum & coke and watched the first half of the Scotland - France game on his iPhone projector. After a disastrous start we almost hauled ourselves level but then it all slipped away.
Up town to a very busy Cameo - all seats £3 y’see - to take in Almodovar’s latest, Parallel Mothers. A good looking and engaging film with Penelope Cruz as good looking and engaging as ever. Whether much more will stay with me is perhaps a bit more doubtful.
