Drama flats and a drama sky

Lazy day today to recover from a long and busy week - we had our employee recognition event yesterday and our small team have been arranging it.  The event went well, despite some last minute failures from suppliers, and it was the first time many of us had been in the same room as most of our colleagues.  It was really nice, but we're very much looking forward to getting back to HR instead of event planning!

Quick trip out to a new garden centre today with lots of great plants, and some interesting decoration.  From the Gorilla and Zebra at the gates, to the beach tiki bar flanked by an anthropomophic tiger (complete with boobs...) to an areoplane on a hill.  Wishing I had the courage to get my camera out and take some pictures...but we were the only people there and it felt a bit strange.  The sky at sunset over the flats was pretty dramatic with a front going over so that's the blip.
