Seaside Super Heroes Start Young, Whitstable

It was another astonishingly beautiful winter's day today so we just had to go to the seaside while forgoing the usual weekly food shop. Our culinary escapades will just have to be more ad hoc during the week ahead!
So it was off to Whitstable again and it was busy along the seafront with small kids and dogs running wild just as they should do, often with families trailing behind and never quite catching up until ice cream, fish and chips or beer (strictly for the adults of course!) were introduced to the unfolding stories in front of us. It was all rather joyous, with a simple relaxed beauty to it all. One of those day where you almost want to keep inhaling it as long as you can.
After our walk along the seafront and back to the harbour our hunger grew so we stopped off for saveloy and chips for our lunch. We ate them sitting on a bench in the middle of town and they tasted bloody wonderful.
The extra is one of these families taking a rest on one of the groynes. I love the massive tanker behind them which they were totally oblivious to!
