Derelict Sunday

I was sad to discover that the big red barn behind this smaller outbuilding has totally collapsed. It is one of the landmarks I pass by often during my walks. I really should not have been surprised because these old farm buildings were abandoned many years ago after the farmhouse burned down. The house was never rebuilt, and the buildings were left to their fate of inevitable destruction.
