Crooked!

The shapes of tree around here never cease to fascinate me.  We walked along Common Lane again today, but this time all the way the next village (nearly 2 ½ miles), as people must have done for centuries.  And some of the trees and hedges will have been here for almost as long.  Another interesting point about these lanes is that some were covered with tarmac and became roads, while others, marked as the same sort of track on old maps, remained like this.

And nearly 5 miles was still less than 10,000 steps!  Yet I'm knackered!
