Blowing his own trumpet

Just joyful to have the house full of daffodils.  There are even a few outside in the garden that have come out this week.  With snowdrops still in full flow it feels like the daffs are very early.  I am not complaining however!  What a glorious spring day it has been.. the wind was away from the garden so we cleared the prunings from the oak tree that we had stacked up.. nice and tidy now and ash made for the borders.. I will scatter it on the later where I want slugs to move away from plants I treasure
