Bird's eye view.....

We ventured out after lunch, tempted by the brief appearance of the sun, and took the mainline and Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf and walked to Heron Quays. Then after a deliciously rich and dark hot chocolate drink in Carluccio's. we browsed that amazing underground world I have only recently discovered. And from the great heights of the third floor in Cabot Place, everyone looked so small, rather like little ants.

Then back to Canada Water and a visit to the Decathlon store before heading home and a rather late dinner. Feeling rather tired now!
