and he's off!

This photo doesn't show what a wonderfully sunny, blue-sky day we had today...but I chose it because it made me smile :-) Joanna and Jess trying to get Moss to enjoy getting his feet wet, but Moss is happier on dry land, running about in the woods.

I did some hardcore pruning of a very old and misshapen Bramley apple tree today, with my Pocketboy folding saw. Still more to do, but the weather tomorrow doesn't look so good for gardening. I also had a very nice forest walk. Sarah went out to the Lowther Hills with her running club.

I have a week off work - tomorrow I shall be travelling north and then later in the week, going south. Places to go, people to see :-)
