Unwinding

It’s been a stressful few days, having to deal with M’s op situation at a distance, coping with natural anxieties which creep into place when someone close is worried and in pain, and waiting for news. Tonight we seem to be in a better place, and it’s clear, but cold outside. So, a fire and few minutes sitting round it seem appropriate. Spent some time clearing up branches from the garden and watched West Ham beat Wolves on TV ( didn’t go to the match which seemed a step too far). R still has bad cold but so far negative on the Covid tests. I feel fine.
