Today was mostly work calls and I was planning a relaxed evening at home in readiness for a trip to London tomorrow to collect M from the hospital. However we then learned that there is a tube strike planned for tomorrow, which will no doubt cause chaos in terms of getting through central London so we made the decision to travel up tonight, stay in a hotel, and have an easier time in the morning. So, here we are at the Danubius Hotel and following a very pleasant time in the bar we are ready for an even more relaxing time in our room
