Snowdrops

After our usual morning of church followed by Bible study, we went out to enjoy the blue sky and sunshine, and slightly milder temperatures. Initially, my thought was to stick with paved trails, knowing the wooded trails would be muddy. However, I then got to thinking, that probably the snowdrops and winter aconites would be out at Rowe Woods, so we decided to head there. I wasn’t disappointed, the snowdrops were just coming out, there were carpets of bright yellow winter aconites, and hellebores were just beginning to bloom too. Spring is coming! In that area the paths were fine, but once we set out for a real hike, the paths were muddy in places.
