Singing his heart out

It’s not the best quality photo, it was late afternoon and the light wasn’t good, but the red-winged blackbirds were very vocal and noticeable when I was at Pioneer Park this afternoon, and I felt this one deserved his moment of fame on blip. When they call to each other, their bodies puff up and their wings spread open a bit. We had been swimming at Esporta (formerly LA Fitness), earlier in the afternoon, and then Laura had called and we were talking for quite a while, so I was later getting out than I’d hoped. She was returning from a long weekend in Las Vegas with a friend from Kuwait, and her sister Jen, and she was at the airport, waiting for her flight, which was unfortunately delayed.
Another month gone, where does the time go?!
