Paddling Paddy

A Specsavers post cataract surgery proved to have been booked two weeks too early, not quite as bad as Mrs S who was four weeks early, she was seen in a rearranged appointment, I’m back late March.
As compensation for my missing out on his walk yesterday he went on his extending lead and we walked to Swanpool Beach via the stream running through Swan Vale Nature Reserve. He’s always enjoyed his paddle but as he’s got older and stronger it’s become a real test of strength when he runs to the extent of the lead, the head of steam he builds up takes some holding.

Roast chicken with lemon and black pepper seasoning, there was a lot of it so I may persuade her that one of her chicken pies should be on the menu mid week.

Nice long chat with Joshua, his Regiment currently forms part of the NATO Reinforcements, no Spearhead, so they might potentially be involved in any build up in the Northern Flank, Estonia, Poland etc. Worrying times and with Russia not making the progress they anticipated what comes next.
