Another First

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We went up to Banchory today to have lunch with Albert as it would have been Penny’s birthday.

Albert described the day as bittersweet; his memories of this time last year are still vivid and painful, but lunch together was really nice.

There was humour…The Eldest Mini Princess said that she really liked the wine we had with lunch and that it was so much better than the £2 (something) bottle of ‘wine drink’ they had consumed one night. Albert just shook his head and joked that EMP would end up with a ‘visit’ from Penny if that behaviour continued!

It was a day to be together.
