After a morning of pottering around with coffee and crossword and book and the like, it was time to head to the flicks for the 1pm screening of The Duke - all perfectly fine and entertaining, very watchable, doesn't try too hard, has a certain charm, unlikely to end up on any films of the year lists come December.
